Why we exist

To improve Diversity across the Tech industry. Diversity isn’t a choice for us to take, it’s a change we must make. At Entr Tech we look to break down traditional hiring structures by making a career in Tech accessible to ALL, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual preferences or educational and industry experience. Organisations with an ethnically diverse workforce are 35% more likely to outperform their less diverse rivals and those that are gender diverse achieve up to 16% more than their less diverse competitors (Mckinsey 2017).

Lack of Professional Education and Awareness to start a career in Tech Sales. Unfortunately schools and universities do not teach Sales skills. We are on a mission to change this through our educational platform, offering professional accreditations backed by the Institute of Sales Professionals to successful graduates We also aim to open the rewards a career in Tech Sales to those without prior knowledge or experience.

Work has changed for ever. The Remote Office has accelerated the need for eLearning and Mentorship Platforms. Hiring managers need skilled talent who can come in and provide immediate results. We ensure onboarding talent have access to all the tools and resources they needed to be successful within their role. Our mentorship service provides further support and feedback within the first 6 months, increasing employee morale and retention.

Jack Rogers - Founder

Similar to many university graduates I found myself uninspired by a career at one of ‘The Big Four’ and after 4 years of business school was unsure of my career path. Although I had an idea that Tech was the industry to move into, there was no clear entry route and my degree hadn’t equipped me with the education for a career in tech sales.

After numerous part-time roles I initially entered the FMCG industry as a Field Sales Agent. With a year of door-to-door sales experience under my belt, I decided that the world of Fin-Tech would be a wise transition to as an SDR and within months, I very quickly found out how rewarding and intellectually stimulating a career in the industry could be.

Transitioning into an Account Executive and ultimately a Regional Director role across the span of 5 years, I began to see the challenges with the current system from the hiring side. Whilst looking for entry-level sales talent to recruit, there was a real void of talent. There was also a real lack of diversity with the individuals put forward from traditional recruiters. Even SDR’s who were eventually hired, lacked the basic skill-sets and tools needed to succeed. There was no educational support or framework for success, especially for new-starters joining remote during the global pandemic.

This lead to many sleepless nights and ultimately the launch of Entr Tech. If you are looking to hire SDR’s, train your current team or launch a career in Tech Sales, do get in touch!

Jack Rogers

Lonnie Linsey

David is one of our Talent Executives at Entr Tech. Prior to joining he Studied History at Loughborough and spent 6 months working at Google. David is an avid sports fan and supports Arsenal F.C. On the weekend you can find him cycling around Richmond Park or at the Emirates.

Shannon Adena

Is another one of our Talent Executive's who joins us straight from University. Shannon studied Performing Arts at xyz and has a real passion for music. On the weekend you will find her singing kareoke in one of the many bars across town or walking her puppy Luna.

Fun fact: She attended many stages of auditions on Xfactor and made it all the way through to Bootcamp!
